Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.1-EPTU.8058266 Playtest Information

Greetings Avocados!

We have put in more fixes for crashes and stability as well as another new addition to streaming changes that should help improve performance and leading asset issues and would like to run another playtest tonight!

We plan on running this playtest TONIGHT for 3-4 hours! (Most likely ending at 8pm Central US time)

We will be opening up the EPTU channel tonight with our 3.17.1-EPTU.8058266 branch which will have the mission opening up after we release!

Couple of known issues on the mission

• Shuttle from Orison to Easy will double up / teleport which can cause player deaths
• Enemy AI can become stuck within their spawn closets, which can block completion of the mop-up
• Mission objective markers are sometimes not showing for the different boss / lieutenant enemies
• Stairs to Easy Island are turned around (hardcore parkour!)
• When equipping downed NPC weapon, the weapon will teleport back to the NPC
• Can’t Buy Pharmacy Items at Orison General- Invalid Location

Instructions for the Test

The Dynamic event playtest will occur on the EPTU servers in Orison and last approximately 3-4 hours. We may have to restart the mission or servers at certain points due to the known issues above without much notice. We don’t plan on having this build out for much longer than the playtest itself so it may shut down shortly after the playtest!
