Star Citizen Alpha 3.16.1g PTU.7937492 Patch Notes

Alpha Patch 3.16.1g has been released to the PTU, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.16.1-PTU.7937492.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU.

Xenothreat Playtest tonight at 1700 CST | 2300 UTC

  • Fixed players causing the javelin to be classified as hostile to Jerico
  • Fixed and issue that allowed players to EVA into the INS Jericho docking arm and access the Aegis Javelin
  • Fixed the Javelin failing to carry out the correct QT animation when Quantum Travelling away
  • Fixed Screens in the spaceport are not being hijacked by Xenothreat throughout all Phases of the Xenothreat Event

Known Issues

  • It is possible that some servers may stop updating their mission offerings. If the issue persists, try leaving the server, waiting a few minutes and rejoining the PU, or change region.
  • Weapon holsters or un-holsters unintentionally (Workaround: Dropping a pistol/tool on the ground and interacting to pick it up may help get out of the issue)
  • Attempting to log back into a ship bed may result in a long loading screen before being sent back to the Main Menu w/ Error 30009
  • Players will experience positional desync with one another after they have died and respawned
  • Switching capacitor charge can cause desync in capacitor rate and capacity
  • Ruto’s hologram is not appearing
  • Many mineable asteroids can’t be scanned
  • Elevator cars are appearing in the environment beyond their assigned doors
  • Spawn closets do not recognize unconscious AI and close the door on them possibly leaving mission critical AI unreachable
  • Ships sometimes wont appear in the VMA app unless the player spawns the ship first then spawns a different ship after, only then the ship will appear in VMA
  • Logging out from the Reliant ship’s bed and back in will cause the Reliant to be in flight mode and the player is stuck inside the ship sleeping area
  • Cannot Repair, Refuel, Restock at LEOs
  • Character’s head, mobiGlas, and other equipment are missing after being released from Klescher
  • Ship may despawn after player death instead of staying at it’s last location
  • Hammerhead doors to turrets may not open for players if they leave the seat during QT, trapping them inside

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that was causing player Hydration & Nutrition to not deplete
  • Laser Trip Mines found within Derelicts should now all correctly explode and deal damage to players
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to gain much more than intended speed while flying a hoverbike in space
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to cause a ship to be classified as hostile and bypass the law system
  • Fixed the HoverQuad thruster glow not illuminating while the ships thrust was active
  • Fixed a visarea issue in the Hammerhead with the Portal leading into the main elevator room and the side hallway
  • A Shattered Large FPS Deposits base should no longer incorrectly display a Collectable Diamond Icon
