Buon lunedì a tutti!

Prima di tutto, vorremmo ricordarvi che anche se la Settimana Aliena si conclude oggi, sia l’Intergalactic Mix-Off Contest che l’Alien Ship Poster Contest accettano ancora le iscrizioni per qualche ora in più. Quindi vai su Spectrum dopo aver letto questo e cogli l’occasione per vincere una fantastica nave aliena. Le ultime ore stanno anche ticchettando per la scadenza per la presentazione di Star Citizen vs. EVE Online: Battle of the Bricks, quindi inviaci la tua astronave Lego Star Citizen oggi prima delle 23:59 Pacific.

Hai anche la possibilità di mettere in evidenza la tua organizzazione da noi durante il Festival della Fondazione a luglio. Nel verse, Foundation Festival è un programma civico della durata di un mese che mira a rafforzare le fondamenta della comunità incoraggiando cittadini e civili a fare volontariato nelle organizzazioni locali e imperiali. Quindi, vogliamo dare un posto sotto i riflettori alle tante meravigliose organizzazioni che rendono la community di Star Citizen una delle migliori in circolazione.

E parlando di organizzazioni, è un ottimo momento per farne parte, poiché Star Citizen Alpha 3.17.2 è già con il nostro team Evocati sui server PTU. Se le nostre analisi PTU ci hanno insegnato qualcosa, è che vuoi che qualcuno ti supporti nel nuovo ed esplosivo Evento dinamico, Assedio di Orison.

Che ne dici di un po’ di allenamento extra prima del lancio della nuova patch? Alla fine di questa settimana, organizzeremo non uno ma due eventi dinamici che ti permetteranno di affrontare sia gli NPC che altri giocatori. Tieni d’occhio Nine Tails Lockdown e Jump Town 2.0 che inizieranno dal 30 giugno al 5 luglio! Presto il programma dettagliato.

Ora, vediamo cosa succede questa settimana:

Questo martedì, il team di Narrative ci porta l’aggiornamento mensile di Galactapedia. Martedì effettueremo anche la manutenzione programmata, a partire dalle 06:30 Pacific / 1330 UTC circa. Ciò comporterà un tempo di inattività previsto di circa 5 ore, durante le quali l’universo persistente, Arena Commander e i nostri siti Web non saranno disponibili.

Quindi mercoledì rilasceremo un post di monitoraggio della patch 3.17.2 su Spectrum, in cui parleremo dei numerosi miglioramenti e correzioni in arrivo nella nostra prossima patch.

Giovedì, è l’ultimo episodio di Inside Star Citizen prima della pausa con un rapporto approfondito sulla patch Alpha 3.17.2. Daremo anche il via a un lungo weekend di eventi dinamici, a partire dal Nine Tails Lockdown!

Alpha Patch 3.17.2c has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.17.2-PTU.8113300.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER and Shader folders for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU. The Shader folders can be found here %localappdata%\Star Citizen.

This release will be on US servers only

Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the “Testing Focus”. Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

Testing Focus

  • This build has quite a few bits of extra logging for crashes and player network syncing to track down any other issues with the on foot client networking update. If possible, please submit any of the crash handlers you get!
  • This build also has underlying physics changes to help with hit registration during ship combat. This is highly experimental, and we’re looking for all the feedback we can get on this change.

Known Issues

  • Locations – Orison – Elevator – Orison Hab elevator occasionally not working
  • Locations / AI – Lorville Guards have blinding lights on their helmets
  • TRACKING – Actors are teleporting around after networking updates
  • Elevators / Physics – Hangar elevator’s collision grid pushes player through its path when called (Multiple Locations)
  • Combat AI – FPS NPCs rubberbanding
  • AI / Characters – Inventory – Looting the weapon from an unconscious AI will cause it to teleport back into their hand a short period after picking it up
  • Shopping / Selling – Search Bar – Search Bar does not allow players to search by keyword or specific item names ; forces players to search for general item types ; players must still manually search shop to find the desired items
  • Rest Stops ( R&R ) – Stores have no items out on shelves to buy, and their kiosks have no stock available to purchase
  • Missions – Bounty / Mercenary – Dying in lawful UGF missions causes player to respawn at Grim Hex
  • Missions – A Call to Arms – Contract is missing from Contract Manager and not able to be accepted by players
  • Missions – Remove Claimjumpers – Mission does not progress after player has reached mission location
  • Refinery Kiosk – Refinery at R&R stations ARC-L2 and ARC-L4 doesn’t allow player to refine their materials and screen is missing station specialization
  • Bunker turrets – lawful missions – bunker turrets will shoot at a player with a lawful mission to be at the bunker
  • UGF Raid – Missions / AI / Combat AI – Some Enemy AI will not engage Security AI or Players
  • Medical – Downed players may become desynced
  • FPS Weapons – Weapon holsters or un-holsters unintentionally

Made changes to the cargo grid to add a new 4 SCU cargo box with animated doors. Updated the cargo boxes used by the Mustang so that they can open and hold loose cargo. Greatly increased the cargo bay health
Extended the Length and Softened the Shocks of the Origin 85x Landing Gear

Bug Fixes

  • Emptying and reloading consecutive magazines should no longer break reloading
  • Fixed an issue that could cause FPS AI to respond slowly to players
  • Player should no longer be forcefully repelled when entering from EVA
  • Fixed an issue causing excess framerate issues around derelict colonialism outposts
  • AI reinforcements should now arrive for “Retrieval Op” missions at colonialism derelict outposts
  • Fixed an issue that was causing loot containers to not spawn at colonialism derelict outposts
  • Fixed many lootcrates so they are no longer clipping through geometry at Derelict Colonial Outposts
  • Fixed an issue causing some Hurston planetary outposts and UGFs zones to be partially/fully underground
  • UGF “Destroy Stash” and “Infiltrate and Defend” missions should now properly spawn FPS AI
  • Fixed an issue causing multiple elevators / shuttles around PU and the mission area to not arrive when called
  • Mission markers showing the location of derelict reclaimers should no longer go missing
  • FPS enemy AI should now be present at the Hijacked Reclaimer mission
  • AI enemies should now spawn at Ghost Hollow Reclaimer Derelict during the Kill All mission
  • AI inside the hijacked Reclaimer should no longer walk through the geometry
  • Fixed an issue causing an excess strong fog effect in the salvage process room Hijacked Reclaimer
  • Fixed an issue causing the airlock doors to not open during the Hijacked Reclaimer Missions
  • There should no longer be invisible collision when shooting FPS weapons around corners and doorways that was blocking shots in the new Derelict Reclaimer
  • Fixed an issue causing the Highjacked Reclaimer during Breach and Steal missions to sometimes get attacked and destroyed by security ships
  • Fixed an issue causing the three main entryways to the hijacked Reclaimer to be blocked

Colonialism Outposts – Derelict

Realizzazione di avamposti abbandonati in tutta Stanton a tema colonialismo. Queste posizioni verranno lanciate con missioni, bottino e incontri con IA ostili. Questa funzione è stata aggiunta alla colonna Alpha 3.17 e ha come target la pubblicazione nel secondo trimestre in 3.17.2.


AI – Dropships and Reinforcements

Consentire alle navi AI di atterrare e fornire rinforzi su aree di terra non strutturate, come il terreno planetario, dove non sono disponibili area di atterraggio predefinita e l’assistenza del controllo del traffico aereo. Questa funzione è stata aggiunta alla colonna Alpha 3.17 e ha come target la pubblicazione nel secondo trimestre in 3.17.2.
 

Progress Tracker

Il seguente deliverable è stato aggiunto al Progress Tracker:
 

Asteroid Facilities

Aggiunta di nuove strutture per asteroidi all’universo persistente. Aree attraversabili realizzate a mano che offrono diverse opportunità di gioco sia all’interno che all’esterno degli asteroidi. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma del team EU Sandbox 1.

A causa di uno spostamento di priorità per il team di Concept Art dei veicoli, sia per attendere l’arrivo di sistemi specifici sia per le risorse aggiuntive necessarie su altri veicoli in arrivo, i seguenti risultati sono stati temporaneamente rimossi dal Progress Tracker fino a quando non saranno assegnate risorse aggiuntive:

  • MISC Hull B
  • MISC Hull D
  • MISC Hull E
  • Crusader Genesis Starliner

La settimana degli alieni è arrivata! Grazie a tutti per i vostri fantastici contributi fino ad ora ai concorsi della Settimana Aliena, che si tratti di bevande gustose o di fantastici poster. Per i dettagli su questi concorsi, i nostri spettacoli a tema Alien Week e altro ancora, dai un’occhiata alla pagina hub dedicata di Alien Week.

Alpha 3.17.2 è ora nelle mani dei nostri eccellenti tester Evocati, che la stanno attivamente martellando per preparare la build alla wave uno. Speriamo di aprirla molto presto alla prima ondata, quindi restate sintonizzati per maggiori dettagli.
 

Ora, vediamo cosa succede questa settimana:

Risolto il problema della trasmissione di Xi’an la scorsa settimana? Questa settimana, martedì, abbiamo una trasmissione Banu che entra nel sistema Stanton da tradurre.

Mercoledì aggiorneremo la Roadmap pubblica insieme a un riepilogo della Roadmap di accompagnamento.

L’Inside Star Citizen di giovedì dà uno sguardo all’imminente aggiunta dei punti di interesse dei relitti in arrivo nell’Alfa 3.17.2, oltre a un’introduzione al nostro ultimo evento dinamico, l’Assedio di Orison.

  • MISC Hull A – The “Extend Cargo Spindle” animation does not complete
  • Many missions are not awarding reputation
  • Remove Claimjumpers Mission does not progress after player has reached mission location

  • Bunker turrets – lawful missions – bunker turrets will shoot at a player with a lawful mission to be at the bunker
  • UGF Raid – Missions / AI / Combat AI – Some Enemy AI will not engage Security AI or Players
  • Locations / Missions – ‘Restricted Area’ warning occurring inside UGF even if player has a lawful mission
  • Medical – Downed players may become desynced
  • FPS Weapons – Weapon holsters or un-holsters unintentionally

Siege of Orison Mission

  • Shuttle from Orison to Easy will double up / teleport which can cause player deaths
  • Client Crash can occur on the shuttle from Orison to Solanki or Orison to Spaceport after looting and equipping clothing / armor from corpses
  • After mission completion the shuttle back to Orison will teleport back to Solanki
  • HUD UI shows that there are still some hostiles remaining on an island, but there are no AI left to neutralize, preventing completion of the objective
  • The Lieutenant on Solanki Island never spawned in
  • Enemy AI can spawn in the floor of the tower
  • Certain AI will not be aggressive towards the player
  • IFFI screen turns back on when being streamed back in after being disconnected
  • IFFIs from the previous mission instance will remain during future instances of the mission

Enabled new remote movement and new server authoritative position systems. With this update, players should see great improvements with on foot player positions and less jittery behavior while viewing remote player movements.

Bug Fixes

  • Personal Transport Service Beacon Missions should now correctly appear in the Contracts Manager for other players
  • Fixed another issue that was causing on foot players/npcs to appear to teleport while moving when viewed at a long distance through weapon scopes
  • Fixed another issue that could cause players to appear to be “standing” in space while EVAing
  • Fixed an issue causing AI to not spawn around Derelict Reclaimer locations during Delivery missions
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to accept and abandon the mission ( Remove Illegal Occupants ) indefinitely to continually spawn AI

  • Fixed an issue causing enemy AI do not leave their open spawn closet on the upper floor of the restaurant on Solanki Platform during Siege of Orison
  • Auroras and Freelancers should no longer get stuck when attempting autodock with the Starfarer

New Features

Locations

Derelict Reclaimers V1
Adding additional points of interest that will be scattered both on planets and in space. These derelict Reclaimers come with puzzle traversal elements along with multiple legal and illegal mission types which include delivery and FPS combat in and around the crash sites using the new planetary navigation mesh. There are three Reclaimer Derelicts in space around Yela, MIC L1, and ARC L2 associated with three different missions that can bring players to these locations (delivery, investigation, and mercenary). The new derelict site “Ghost Hollow” on microTech has NPCs that can navigate on the planetary surface and has three lawful missions associated with this location that bring the player to the derelict (delivery, bounty hunter, and mercenary).


Derelict Colonialism Outposts
Adding new derelict versions of the Colonialism Outposts into Stanton. This initial release will see 5 unique outpost locations on microTech with new delivery missions, small traversal puzzles, and all but one of them having AI guards that utilize the new planetary navmesh along with the new drop ship reinforcement system. (Drop Ship Reinforcement not working in this initial release)

AI

AI – Planetary Navigation
This system allows NPCs to move on planetary surfaces using a dynamically generated navigation mesh. This will efficiently process planetary terrain and objects to prioritize the processing of the environment around the players into navmesh, allowing the use of all existing functionalities on planets. The first implementation of this feature will be at the Reclaimer and Colonialism Outpost Derelict Points of Interest.

Gameplay

Added Illegal Collect and Delivery Missions
New set of delivery missions focusing on illegal cargo. These will be offered by Red Wind Linehaul once the player reaches rank 2 reputation with them as a courier. The player will be sent generally to sketchy, run-down locations like drug labs and stash houses and is tasked with delivering goods between them, some of which may not be legal. The intro mission should be available in Hurston if you have rank 2 courier rep with Red Wind Linehaul. The illegal missions should be available outside Hurston (in Crusader, ArcCorp, and microTech) if you have rank 2 courier rep with Red Wind Linehaul and have completed the intro mission in Hurston. These missions come in 5 different versions, each with a different quantity of cargo and a corresponding monetary and reputation reward given on completion.

Buon lunedì a tutti!

Innanzitutto, vorremmo ringraziare tutti coloro che si sono fermati da uno dei Bar Citizens che abbiamo ospitato durante il fine settimana per celebrare la Giornata del Primo Contatto e la Giornata Internazionale del Bar Citizen! È stato bello rivedervi tutti di persona e il team si è divertito moltissimo a parlare di tutto ciò che riguarda Star Citizens e a ricaricare le batterie con l’energia della comunità. L’affluenza è stata travolgente con oltre 800 partecipanti in tutto il mondo!

Sappiamo che alcuni di voi avrebbero voluto unirsi a noi ma, per vari motivi, non hanno potuto recarsi agli eventi di Los Angeles, Austin, Manchester, Montréal o Francoforte. Tuttavia, questo è stato solo l’inizio del nostro Bar Citizen World Tour. E se hai un evento in lavorazione, condividilo con noi su Spectrum mentre siamo alla ricerca di eventi Bar Citizen guidati dalla comunità a cui possiamo partecipare in tutto il mondo!

Buon mercoledì a tutti!

Ogni due settimane, accompagniamo l’aggiornamento della Roadmap con una breve nota esplicativa per darti un’idea del processo decisionale che ha portato a eventuali modifiche. Questo fa parte di uno sforzo per rendere le nostre comunicazioni più trasparenti, più specifiche e più perspicaci per tutti voi che contribuite a rendere possibili Star Citizen e Squadron 42.

Cambiamenti notevoli per l’8 giugno 2022

Release View

Dopo aver parlato a lungo con il team a Montreal, ci siamo resi conto che ha molto più senso dividere la carta Derelict Reclaimer – Points of Interest in due carte distinte, poiché il lavoro di sviluppo è significativamente diverso per ciascuna. Pertanto, la descrizione e il titolo della carta originale sono stati aggiornati e la seguente carta è stata aggiunta alla vista di rilascio:

Derelict Reclaimer Space Missions
Una varietà di missioni narrativamente uniche sono state create a mano per i nuovi relitti dei Reclaimer nello spazio. Questa funzione è stata aggiunta alla colonna Alpha 3.17 e ha come target la pubblicazione nel secondo trimestre in 3.17.2.

Questi risultati hanno superato la revisione finale per Alpha 3.17.2. Pertanto, stiamo contrassegnando queste carte come Impegnate nella visualizzazione di rilascio e cambiando il loro colore in blu.

Progress Tracker

Con questo aggiornamento, stiamo estendendo l’orizzonte di pianificazione dei team Upstream per includere il primo trimestre del 2023, con l’aggiunta di più team in una pubblicazione futura. I seguenti risultati sono stati aggiunti a Progress Tracker:

Salvage – Vehicle Munching
Implementazione della capacità di trasformare grandi pezzi di metallo recuperati dalle navi in un materiale raffinato. Questo utilizzerà i sistemi di macinazione a bordo di navi di salvage come il Vulture e il Reclaimer. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma dell’EU PU Gameplay Feature Team.

Freight Elevators
Implementazione di sistemi e contenuti per consentire ai giocatori di caricare e scaricare fisicamente merci da e verso le loro navi trasportando merci da e verso l’hangar, piattaforme di atterraggio, garage e collari di attracco. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma del team di funzionalità di gioco PU degli Stati Uniti.

New Player Experience
Un’iniziativa per migliorare l’esperienza di gioco iniziale (primi 30 minuti), che aiuterà i giocatori a comprendere il contesto del mondo e introdurrà loro alcune delle funzionalità di base di Star Citizen. Ciò includerà aggiornamenti a zone di atterraggio, spazioporti, habs, negozi e altro ancora. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma del team della zona di atterraggio dell’UE.

Player/Machine Physical Interaction
Implementazione iniziale di animazioni che mostrano il giocatore che interagisce con i controlli e gli oggetti della nave. Include pulsanti, interruttori azionabili e interazione con altre aree della cabina di pilotaggio. Include anche altre macchine e oggetti, comprese le porte degli armadietti. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma dell’Actor Feature Team.

Aegis Retaliator Base
Costruire, implementare e bilanciare la variante base della nave da combattimento multi-equipaggio Aegis, la Retaliator, come veicolo pronto per il gioco. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma dei Contenuti del veicolo – Team UE.

Anvil Crucible
Costruire, implementare e bilanciare la piattaforma di riparazione navale di Anvil, il Crucible, come veicolo pronto per il gioco. Questo risultato è stato aggiunto al programma dei Contenuti del veicolo – Team UE.

A causa dell’ulteriore priorità assegnata al lavoro di recupero sopra menzionato, il seguente risultato verrà rimosso temporaneamente da Progress Tracker fino a quando non verrà riprogrammato:

  • Room Depressurization
