Star Citizen Patch 3.13.0p

Alpha Patch 3.13.0p has been released to the PTU and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.13.0-PTU.7296226.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU.

Testing Focus

Special Note: We believe we have tracked down an issue that was causing many asset loading issues in the PTU due to extreme amounts of harvestables overloading the asset streaming queue when a docked Merlin in a Connie quantum travels through astroid belts such as the Aaron Halo but will need to run a few tests on servers this weekend to verify. To do this, we will have a few random servers not load in any harvestables at all which includes mineables. If possible, we would still like players to continue to use these servers if they get into one to keep an eye on space stations, turrets, and missions loading issues while we gather data on the servers.

Known Issues

  • Space stations at Lagrange points can take several minutes to stream in
  • Ground vehicles can be seen to clip through/fall out of cargo bays of ships when under low server FPS
  • Players may get a random Crime Stat when Killing a Bounty
  • Placing a trolley under a large elevator and calling it can damage the ship with colliding
  • The customizable nameplates do not appear to be visible anywhere on the Carrack Expedition
  • ASOP displays as “unable to spawn at this time” and could fine the player for spawning a ship with one already on the pad
  • On landing pads, trolleys are unable to be pushed / pulled up the entryway / cargo ramp, or elevator ramps.
  • Docking with a moving ship lags behind, causing a large snap into the docked position
  • Leaving a trolley in a door way will clip through the floor erratically and can kill players
  • Bright / Opaque fog volume encompassing cockpit of ships at Lagrange point / Near gas clouds

Major Bug Fixes

  • Emergency lights in ships should no longer flash on and off excessively fast
  • Fixed an issue causing planet terrain and assets can be seen visibly flickering and moving position when changing LOD’s
  • Star Marine Elimination should no longer end in a draw immediately after game start, If 2 or more players join before game start countdown is complete
