Star Citizen Patch 3.13.0e

Alpha Patch 3.13.0e has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: VERSION 3.13.0-PTU.7203937.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU.

Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the “Testing Focus”. Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay.

The current build has respawn location selection turned on when joining a server for testing due to location issues.

Known Issues

  • Player begins suffocating on respawn with no oxygen which persists through death
  • Customized loadouts are reset to default when the ship’s name is changed
  • Contacts disappear from list after relaunching client and further sent/received requests from those contacts are not seen.
  • Viewing reputation while in a ship will cause UI to mess up
  • Multiple functions are broken on the Front End
  • Many UI Displays/functionality stops after launching the client a 2nd time
  • On landing pads, trolleys are unable to be pushed / pulled up the entryway / cargo ramp, or elevator ramps.
  • Leaving a trolley in a door way will clip through the floor erratically and can kill players
  • Docking with a moving ship lags behind, causing a large snap into the docked position
  • Docked merlin enter interactions don’t show when constellation is moving
  • Mounting weapon while holding a grenade will cause the player to enter a broken state upon exiting via interaction mode during low FPS

Feature Updates


New Asteroids
Replacements for the asteroids currently used in the Stanton system using the new organic asset workflow. These new astroids can currently be found scattered around lagrange points

New Features


Final balance pass on passive mining modules 
Performance and Polish pass for SDF shields 
Updated Bounty missions to be more equally spread about available mission locations 
Updated multiple missions to include more specific location information 
Updated law system to prevent griefing where players position themselves over a ship taking off/landing to be willingly run over and give the pilot a crime stat

Ship and Vehicles

Added Mercury Star Runner to in game shops 
Added Talon and Shrike into in game shops 
Added Nomad into in game shops 
Increased in-game price of Esperia Prowler to be more in line with ships of similar role/size

Weapons and Items

Added Drake Buccaneer Spinal Mount Turret to in game shops and AC rentals

Major Bug Fixes

  • Players should no longer get stuck on a black screen when respawning in the PU
  • Attempting to dock with the Constellation ships should now trigger correctly
  • Fixed an issue that was causing very fast areas of flashing lights after a ship is destroyed
  • Fixed an issue causing Players to be unable to spawn ships at Multiple Locations ASOP Terminals
  • Character reset should now correctly reset items as intended
  • Players should now be able to interact and sit on the seats in the New Babbage train
  • Fixed an issue causing AI ships to get stuck circling the player without firing
  • Fixed an issue causing Close and Long Range FoIP animations to not visible to other players
  • Fixed an issue causing Players hands to not raise when staggered into a wall
  • Players should now correctly receive a force reaction when having a trolley pushed into them
  • Fixed an issue causing multiple trolleys to have incorrect grips when walking with the trolley
  • Fixed the player flopping into the prone animation when exiting from EVA after being knocked back into zero-g
  • Fixed an issue causing thrown objects to not follow their trajectory line
  • Elevator Location display should no longer show an incorrect current floor location
  • Hurston and Crusader bounty hunter intro missions should now progress correctly to further bounty missions
  • Mined rock deposits should no longer shatter violently, causing them to be flung far away, during a controlled shatter
  • Fixed an issue causing ships to not be able to lower landing gear when they have a target selected
  • Fixed an issue causing the the player’s exit animation to shift forward when exiting the Cyclone vehicles
  • Players should now be able to exit the Gladius in Zero-G
  • MISC Freelancer MIS rear ramp interaction should no longer be missing
  • Fixed an issue causing the rear landing gear do not properly deploy on the Argo Mole
  • Fixed an issue causing the rear landing gear to not properly deploy on the Aegis Eclipse
  • P72 Archimedes should no longer be missing its nose landing gear
  • Players should no longer be able to clip into the Cutlass bunk bed and become stuck
  • Players are now able to perform takedowns on other players using the mounted turrets
  • Fixed an issue that could cause players to get stuck to Stationary turrets after using Interaction Mode to exit
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to interact with / fire mounted guns from the front
  • Attempting to open the MobiGlas during the animation of gripping the mounted guns will no longer result in the gun becoming unusable and the player will be unable to move away
  • Fixed an issue that allowed an escaped player to be able to put minerals mined on the exterior in their inventory and then log out and back in to spawn in prison with the minerals still in their inventory
  • Fixed an issue on the Behring FS-9 Ballistic LMG iron sights having a very distracting and high glow amount
