This Week in Star Citizen 11/2022

Happy Monday, everyone!

Alpha 3.17 has now been released to the Evocati Testing group! They’re currently hammering away at early versions of the build, reporting bugs, and giving feedback so that we can open up to PTU very soon.

Stella Fortuna, Star Citizen’s St. Patrick’s Day equivalent, is set to begin this Wednesday, March 16! We’ll have a Comm-Link going up this week with the holiday’s lore, community contests, and more, so be sure to come by the RSI website once that’s live on Wednesday.

Now, let’s see what’s going on this week:

This Tuesday, the Narrative team has a new lore post titled Showdown: A Better Today. Two experts in artificial intelligence discuss a new piece of legislation proposed by Imperator Laylani Addison that would weaken restrictions against AI research and open the door for it to be granted government funding.

On Wednesday, the Stella Fortuna festivities will kick off, so keep an eye out for the comm-link with all the details. Wednesday also brings the latest Roadmap Update, paired with a Roadmap Roundup comm-link.

On Thursday, Inside Star Citizen takes a look at Selling Items to Shops and further progress on loot generation, plus a retrospective on medical gameplay first introduced in Alpha 3.15 and what’s next for medics in the ‘verse.

This Friday, we’ve got a new episode of Star Citizen Live on our official Twitch channel. We’ll update you here with the broadcast time and guests very soon. You’ll also catch our weekly RSI Newsletter delivered to your inbox, and Subscribers can look forward to an update to the Subscriber Vault.

Have a wonderful week!
